Adam Wernick, Public Radio International, 3 February 2017

A new analysis of sea surface temperatures from an independent source corroborates updated global warming data released in 2015 by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.

["Florian Philippot is the strategist behind the rebranding of the extreme right Front National as a populist, anti-elite movement. But don’t mistake him for a moderate. It began with dozens of people at a Vancouver mosque and ended with up to 1,500 at Vancouver's Olympic cauldron — all joining together to honour those killed in the recent Quebec mosque shooting and speak out against Islamophobia.

"I think it feels good, this is what it's like to be Canadian," said Aimee Berard, who was at the Al Jamia mosque around 5:30 p.m. PT on Saturday with flowers.
