All Dutch electric trains are now powered by wind energy, the national railway company NS has said.

“Since 1 January, 100% of our trains are running on wind energy,” said NS spokesman, Ton Boon.

Wal-Mart Stores Inc (WMT.N) plans to cut hundreds of jobs before the end of January, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing people familiar with the situation.

The Bentonville, Arkansas-based retailer plans to eliminate jobs at its headquarters and regional personnel that support stores, according to the report.

Coral bleaching has killed 70.1 percent of the nation’s largest coral reef as of the end of 2016, up from 56.7 percent just a few months earlier, the Environment Ministry said.

Warmer seawater temperatures last summer are believed to have caused coral bleaching to spread to 90 percent of the Sekiseishoko coral reef in Okinawa Prefecture.

A man posing as a sympathetic journalist was paid to spy on workers’ rights groups campaigning against asbestos with a key focus on activities in Canada, court documents allege.

According to testimony in the English High Court, a British man identified as Rob Moore was paid more than $700,000 to conduct a four-year espionage campaign against key figures in the global movement to ban asbestos, gathering confidential information about its “funding, aims and strategies, including litigation strategies.”

B.C. Premier Christy Clark says her government has reached a financial deal with Kinder Morgan worth as much as $1-billion over the next two decades, satisfying her demands that British Columbia get a fair share of the economic benefits from the expansion of the Trans Mountain pipeline.
